First time transporting a car in the States. Read all the reviews and felt that it was a no brainer to use Magic Carpet Auto Transport due to all their great reviews. Yes, they are more expensive, but they will keep you posted on where your vehicle is. We requested our vehicle be delivered on a specific day at my son's University and it was delivered exactly as promised. The carrier contracted by Magic Carpet Auto Transport was McKonnen Auto Carriers. This firm is great. The car was damaged at a holding lot prior to McKonnen delivering the car to the University. The driver/owner was not aware of the damage to the car until we told him. He quickly made a call to the lot that had held our car and they admitted to damaging the car. The owner of McKonnen Auto Carriers was so angry that he was not inmformed of this damage prior to delivery and said it made him look bad. He resolved the situation right there by sending me out to get an estimate and he sent us a check for the repairs. Great honest businessman. Thank you McKonnen Auto Carriers! Magic Carpet Auto Transport brokered a great delivery. Magic Carpet did not however, get involved in any of the effort in getting the car's damage repaired, they just said they were sorry the car got damaged. Thanks again McKonnen Auto Carriers for stepping up and rectifying the situation (accidents do happen) to make this a much better experience.
