Service involved transporting my Mercedes from Southern California to Northern Virginia. Setting up the service and agreeing to a contact was extremely easy and efficient. Magic Carpet contracts out and none of the drivers work directly for them. They are honest about their middleman status and the inheritant problems that might occur in the process. After they found a driver, he asked for a slightly higher price than had been agreed (about $25.00..which I would have exceeded in a tip had the service been excellent anyway). Still, I thought this was rather disappointing as all involved would have held me to the letter of the contract. Transport was quite fast, car arrived 2 days earlier than estimated. Car was in excellent condition (unscratched but dirty...open carrier)..and the driver was friendly. I would recommend Magic Carpet again. They seem to run a pretty high volume service so I would recommend maintaining pretty constant contact with them. Reviews are not compensated for...but you are eligible for a $30.00 'rebate' whether the review is positive or negative. Overall...dealing with movers and car transporters can be a pretty 'iffy' experience and Magic Carpet exceeded my expectations.
