Successful Transport

Back in 2008, our daughter had a disastrous experience with an auto tranport from NYC to Seattle WA including a very deliquent pick up and being held up for extra money a few hours in advance of the actual car delivery. Naturally she was very reluctant to ship her car ever again.

Being overprotective parents, my wife and I promised we would make sure this did not happen again. After reading a number of reviews, a couple of months in advance, my wife and I settled on Magic Carpet and contacted Michelle who was very helpful and gave us a preliminary estimate and order number without filling in all the details. When we contacted her again about a month before pick up and filled in a few more details, the price had not changed and we were almost immediately placed with a "preferred" transport company. However, when we attempted to contact that transport company directly with a couple of questions, we could never get them on any of the numbers Michelle provided as most of the voice mailboxes would not even accept messages since they were already full. To Michelle's credit when we told her of our contact problems, she immediately re-booked our car with another company OK Auto Carriier.

Thereafter, we dealt with the transporter directly and while the car was a day late arriving from the orginal estimate, they had placed it on a covered carrier which more than compensated for the one day delay. Michelle was responsive when we needed her to be and in the end we had a good car transport company.
