This was my first time transporting a car, and I was horrified by all of the crazy companies hounding me with quotes after I started the search- it's like the wild wild west out there, with non-stop robocalls and lots of other little annoyances in the process. Because of that, I was very glad and very relieved that I ultimately went with MJ Parker Trucking. I had whittled it down to three companies that I was choosing between, and I found MJ Parker fairly easy to communicate with, and their quote was fine. All of their policies seemed fairly consistent with the majority of trucking companies out there, but their communication was straight-forward and the whole process was of getting things confirmed was fast. There's always going to be a certain about of risk when you're looking to do a big transport like this, but at the end of the day, Jim picked the car up in Louisville, Kentucky and brought it to California, in good shape and without hassle. He was only a short bit of time over the window they stated me, which was fine- there's a lot of complicated scheduling with these things, and if you're desperate to get your car at the exact time and date you want it, you'll probably end up being disappointed anyway. I'd use this company again for sure, and would recommend them, too. Especially considering that I needed to have the car delivered to a difficult driving city like San Francisco, I found that everyone involved was professional about dealing with the various challenges.
