I would never use this company again

OMG ! I hired this company because they had good ratings both with the TransportReviews and with the BBB (although they are not accredited by the BBB). Big Mistake !!! I paid a lot of money so my car would be transported in an Enclosed Carrier. At first I was ok with three days to secure a transport for the car after it was available. The problems started when the driver of the transport called saying his truck was too big and couldn't make it into the neighborhood where we live. So in the middle of an upstate NY winter (snow/ice/salty roads) we had to drive the car (which up to that point had never felt rain before) to a parking lot to meet the transport. So we paid for an enclosed carrier yet to get the car was exposed to snow/ice/salt on it while getting it to the transport. The driver told us it would be 4 days (5 at the most) for the car to get to the destination. When the fifth day came and there was no car, we contacted the driver who said he was delayed and he would call us back with a new "delivery time". He never did... We left messages for the driver, the dispatcher, and Lightning Auto Carriers but nobody called back. I even left a message for Brad at Lightning Auto Carriers stating that I was considering reporting the car stolen since it was not delivered and nobody was calling me back with a time or an explanation... Still, he never called back...
At the end, the car was delivered 4 days later than the first day it was promised but
1. the car had to be driven in bad road conditions which defeats the purpose of paying for an enclosed transport.
2. the lack of communication while the car was "in transport" was unacceptable.

We are having another car transported to TX and would never use this company again.

I WOULD LIKE TO START OFF BY SAYING THAT MARISOL IS NOT ONLY LYING BUT SHE IS VERY INACCURATE!!! WE DO HAVE A GREAT RATING ON THE BBB AND TRANSPORT REVIEWS AND TRANSPORT REPORTS FOR A REASON. WE ARE A VERY HONEST,FAIR AND HARD WORKING COMPANY. MARISOL REQUESTED AN ENCLOSED CARRIER AND GOT ONE. THE DRIVER'S CARRIER WAS OVER 90 FEET LONG. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY IN THE WORLD HE OR ANY OTHER CARRIER COULD HAVE MADE IT TO HER EXACT HOME ADDRESS. WE TOLD HER THAT MAY HAPPEN DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE CARRIER AND HER LOCATION AND SHE SAID SHE UNDERSTOOD. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE DRIVER HE ASKED HER TO MEET HIM WITHIN A HALF MILE OF HER HOME ADDRESS, WHICH IS VERY REASONABLE DUE TO HIS CARRIER SIZE AND HER EXACT LOCATION. MARISOL STATES THAT NO ONE RETURNED HER CALLS. I PERSONALLY SPOKE TO HER AND SO DID OUR DRIVER AND ARE SALES REP AS WELL. WE TOLD HER FROM THE START THIS ROUTE TAKES ABOUT 5-9 DAYS THIS TIME OF YEAR AND WITH THE WEATHER AND TRAFFIC IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GIVE ANY EXACT DATES. THE ONLY TIME THE CAR WAS DRIVEN WAS THE LOADING AND UNLOADING PROCESS. WITH THESE CARRIERS SIZE AND CERTAIN CUSTOMER LOCATIONS SOMETIMES MEETING THE DRIVER WITHIN A HALF MILE OF THE HOME ADDRESS IS NECESSARY. WE DID HAVE COMMUNICATION WITH HER DURING THE TRANSPORT.WE TRIED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WITH MARISOL BUT WHEN SHE MADE THE REQUEST THAT WE PAY HER MORE THEN WHAT THE TRANSPORT COST, SHE WAS BEING UNREASONABLE AND UNFAIR. WE TRIED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT BECAUSE WE ALWAYS WANT OUR CUSTOMERS TO BE HAPPY BUT SHE WAS TRULY BEING UNREALISTIC WITH HER REQUEST FOR US TO MAKE IT RIGHT. LIGHTNING AUTO CARRIERS
