Initially very apprehensive about having car transported without knowing someone who had used this service. Called our auto mechanic and asked them for a recommendation They used the internet and found A1 Lightening Carriers- who responded immediately. They faxed all the necessary paperwork, with easy to follow instructions, and the process began. The process is very well organized and efficiently executed. All personnel were professional and courteous. The fee of $750 was one of the lowest offers- but I couldn't have asked for better service. They picked up the car, in front of our home, on a smaller transport and then drove it to the site where it was driven cross country on a much larger transport. I was told it would be 7-10 days, but it arrived intact in 6 days. Things to note- should only have 1/4tank of fuel and also get charged more if you pack more than 100 lbs of goods in car. So we payed $50 more for being overweight- but I could not have sent them by mail for that low a price. So it goes without saying that any apprehension that I had at the start was wasted worry and the delight on my grandson's face when he saw the car in their driveway was PRICELESS!
