Hi All

I will give 5 stars to King of The Road Transport.

I am building a custom house in Florida and decided to move early from California to oversee details and overall plan execution. We rented a furnished home til ours is done.
I needed to move 2 of my 5 cars to Florida so we had something to drive while here.

In November i started to google car trasnport companies and got about 30 quotes, some of them really low, like $1200-1600 to transport two cars, a Ford Expedition and a Ford Focus.
I had never done this before and had zero knowledge of who to choose.
I called a friend of mine who owns a car dealership and asked him. He told me 90% of the firms online are brokers who lowball the quote and then try to find an trucking firm to do the actual pickup , drive and delivery.
Hmmm? I knew now I could get hosed if I was not really wise.

King of The Road was one of the brokers who contacted me and their reviews were very positive. So I spoke to Mary and we made a deal for $1900.00 to take both vehicles and make the 2500 mile drive from Southern California to Melbourne Florida.
The cars were picked up on a Thursday and delivered as promised one week later, two days early.

I had a few issues initially when the trucking company started telling me 10 days not 6, but Mary professionally handled them to my satisfaction. All was done on time (2 days early) and cars arrived intact but dirty but this was expected.

I highly recommend this firm to anyone and will use them again to send all my other cars to Florida.
