JR's auto transport was making a delivery to Connecticut. The driver was backing up and backed into my parked car and tore off the front bumper while I was dining.
The driver, perhaps since a police officer was present, did come into the restaurant to locate the driver (me). But the company's owner became a problem.
Bottom line: SHOULD THIS OCCUR TO YOU, DO NOT AGREE TO NOT GO THROUGH INSURANCE!!!!
JR proceeded to bad mouth myself, the insurance company following-up, and the autobody shop.
He ended up paying for the damage but absolutely refused to pay for my rental car.
If he acted this way for damage caused by his drivers, I couldn't take that chance on having them deliver my car and deal with them should damage occur.
