I had my new BMW shipped ENCLOSED by Jordan transport service in November, 2009. It was recommended by Transport Services in FL, and scheduled by them. The vehicle was picked up one day late as initially stated. It was no big deal as I planned a few days around scheduled pickup day.
My vehicle was supposed to be delivered in 7-10 days from Cleveland to LA, called at least 4, 5 times to confirm the final delivery date, met with complete non-professionalism and poor attitude. Actually, one of dispatchers by the name of Demitri actually screened over the phone because I insisted on finding out where my car was located at the point. It turned out they had no idea where the car was at the time becaus the driver kept the car in the big truck and essentially drives around the country to pick up other cars until my delivery location was close to his next delivery or pickup location.
Finally my car arrived so late, I had to rent a rental car for about a week.
That's not the end of the misery.
My 2008 BMW arrived completely dirty, covered with dirt. Frankly, I don't know what they did to my car during those 2-3 weeks. Even if it was parked in the parking lot, it wouldn't be that dirty.
While making the delivery inspection, I noticed a new dent/deep scratch on the right front side panel. I immediately discussed with the driver who compared to the pre-pickup inspection, he noted it was a new damage.
I called George, supposely the owner of the Jordan Transport. He told me to email him pictures of the damage, and two separate body shop estimates. I then followed his instruction, and spent my time to get the estimates, one for $627 recommended by dealership, another one for $300, recommended by a friend.
I emailed back all the requested materials to George. After two weeks of waiting, I called him more than a dozen times. Half of time, no one answers, and the other half, he either placed me on hold, and never come back again, or simply just hung up. I called today again, he told he didn't want to handle this and needed to transfer me to the claim department. Then I was on hold for another half an hour, and no one picked up the phone.
Jordan Transport Service is definitely not a professional company as recommended by the broker. I'll contact the broker, report my poor experience and file the claim accordingly.
