Thank you for the kind words. At 54 years of age I have learned a lot about how to treat customers. I understand they just want the truth. People don't want to be sold. People want the truth. No matter how nice you are to customers - unfortunately some people still don't get it. The don't take the time to learn how this business truly works. I find that my customers appreciate hearing the truth, learning what to expect and having someone follow up with them - now that is just good business. The saying is true: Knowledge is power. My company philosophy is to provide knowledge so people can make the best decision for them (not for some sales person pushing to make a commission). I have suggested to a number of customers to drive the car due to their unusual schedule and specific circumstances that would never match a trucking companies capabilities. My customers appreciate the fact that I don't cause more drama by over promising and under delivering. The bottom line with the auto transport industry is simple. IF your car doesn't move in three business days you are probably not paying enough. You've been sold and not properly informed how this works. This is especially true when you are moving from one major city to another. It might take a bit longer to get you picked up if you are out in the wilderness somewhere expecting an 18 wheeler to pick you up fast. :)
