This is my second experience shipping a car cross-country. The first, from Miami to CA was a disaster - lacking a reference, I just picked a company out of the phone book. They said all the right things, but it was over two months before I ever saw the car again. I don't remember the company anymore. Anyway, this time I did a lot of research including using this site. The cheapest quote I got was from Hilton, and it had the best reviews, so I went with them. I am totally satisfied and would happily work with them again. Nichole was very polite, prompt, and informative during the process. In an ideal world, I wanted the car picked up on either a weekend, preferably on Sunday 3/4. Nichole explained that was hard to guarantee, though she would try. Sure enough, the driver she found had no problems with the Sunday I needed. The car was picked up on time, and the driver was professional and polite to my wife (I had already left CA for MA in our other car by that point -- she was followinglater by air with our child). The driver contacted me several times during the trip to update me on his schedule and estimated he'd be there by Tuesday 3/13, which was well within the estimated transit time. I was happy with that, but even happier when he called me on Friday morning (3/9) to say he was in the state and would be dropping the car off in an hour. Because he was unsure if he could get his truck near my house, he took the car off the truck and drove it a mile to my house, at which point I drove him back to his truck. So that's about it -- I got my car shipped across the country in 5 days for the lowest bid, no snafus, everything went great. This was first rate operation, and I'm more than happy to recommend them.
