Hilton Auto Transport is a broker, but our contact there, Nicki, was very responsive. supplied any information I requested and found a carrier that came right on schedule and delivered one day early. Although the car was dirty from being on an open carrier, it arrived in the same shape as it was shipped. The drop-off driver was very pleasant and allowed us time to fully inspect the car before paying the balance due. Initially I was a little scared after agreeing to use this broker & carrier because there was no written contract. I was told that the bill of lading would act as the contract & Nicki sent me a copy of a blank bill of lading to review prior to shipping the car. I also asked for and received proof of insurance. However, the information did not concern the relevant policy. I was able to track down the carrier's insurance agent who answered questions concerning claims history and general reputation of the carrier as well as the correct information concerning their insurance coverage. This information put my mind at ease concerning the carrier.
