I shipped my car out to California four years ago and the company I used was horrific. They dropped my car in the desert and left me a message to go pick it up. I live by the beach, so I wasn't very stoked. This time around I did my research. I was first going to go with autolog, but a friend told me that when you use a place that has terminals, the car can sit there for weeks after you drop it off. I called anyway and the lady on the phone was a total android with a personality of a DMV employee. Scratch that. Next, I went to this site and looked over a bunch of reviews. I got some quotes and called HILTON AUTO TRANSPORT because they had a good price and good reviews. Hilton kicked major butt. I set up the deal with Kerry who was filling in for Nicole, because she was on vacation. Kerry booked my deal, explained everything and was totally cool. She sounded like a hottie. Who doesn't want to talk to a hottie when booking auto transport? She was the first person I talked to at one of these places that didn't sound like a disgruntled union postal worker. My car was to be shipped around labor day, which is a bad time for shipping. Nicole called me on labor day weekend and got me locked in with Kelly's transport. Rob from Kelly's came to my house, picked up my truck and met me on the other end in Massachussets. My truck wasn't even that dirty. The whole thing was seamless. Now me and my chocolate lab Mable can ride off into the sunset....
