I can't tell you how satisfied I am with Golden Key Express. I can't thank enough Ms. Misty, the dispatecher, at Gold Key Express. She was easily reachable via phone and email. She is very prompt and courteous. She is a very busy lady & despite how busy she gets to organize all the pick-ups and delivery dates of the cars, she still gets to your emails and messages within a short time. My car was transported from Florida to California in an enclosed carrier. John, the driver of the enclosed truck, is a very kind, very professional, courteous man. He kept me informed by calling and textimg me about the pick up time & the same about delivery. I didn't want to bother him during the course of the transport as I knew how hard it is to focus and drive such long distances, but John kept me posted on the status and his whereabouts. His is truely a great guy!
The price for the transport varies depending on the type of vehicle. I transported my Mercedes E350. It all depends on the year, make and model for the price.

I want the readers to know that this was my first car transport. When I sat down to search for a reputable carrier, I did not find any. Searh engines automatically give you Broker companies that arrange car transport carriers for you. You will pay the broker a deposit then pay the carrier the remainder balance at delivery. When I began the process, I was so stressed and anxious that I alomst gave up and wanted to change my plans to drive my own car from Florida to California. The reviews, the complaints, the outdated status with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the lack of insurance, & the revoked memberships with the Better Business Bureaue (BBB). All that got me so frustrated. The reason, your broker will contract with whatever carrier is available for your time frame. You will not know which carrier you are dealing on the spot giving you no time to really search the credentials of the carrier that will be transporting your vehicle.
No company will give you an exact day of pick-up or delivery. You have to be flexible to at least 3-5 days for pick up and same for delivery. The carriers process so many car transports along the way and it takes a good 20-30 minutes to load and unload a car. All also depends on the route of the carrier and all the stops that need to be made.
