My Volvo wagon was picked up in Schaumburg, Illinois and was to be delivered to me in Pennsylvania two days later on Thursday. As the vehicle had not arrived by 7:00 p.m., I called and spoke with Bruce who stated that the driver had had a vehicle issue and the car would be delivered the next day in the morning. (No call ever came from the transport driver himself nor fom Goldstar.) Friday came and went with no car arrival. I spoke with Ellen who then explained that the driver had had a time set-back and would be calling me around 7-8 p.m. to make arrangements for delivery that evening. She gave me her cell # as well as the transport driver's cell #. When I spoke with him, he was having traffic issues and would not be arriving until midnight. To make a long story short, his cell phone had issues and I could no longer reach him. The car finally arrived at 4:30 A.M.. The driver was very polite and apologetic. His name was James and he was so sweet that he was going to park the Volvo in front of the house, take a few hours of sleep in his rig and then return in the a.m. for payment. Also. Ellen went above and beyond to address and solve the problems encountered during this vehicle transport. All of the adverse events in this situation seemed to be circumstantial and I would not hesitate to use this company again. The Volvo arrived raring to be driven.
