I purchased my car from cars.com and needed to have it shipped to me. This was my first time to ship and did not know who to use. I checked ebay's recommended shippers and had quotes given and reviewed their feedback on transport reviews. After reading several bad reviews, I decided to check with a newer smaller brokerage company. I found Gold Star close to my pick up point. What stood out to me was Ellen had went out of her way to help a client of another shipper who was having a bad experience which shows customer service and commitment. The person left negative feedback about the initial transporter, but posted it under Gold Star's name. Ellen responded by taking up for herself which showed character. I called Ellen and she was curtious, polite, and professional. She is a relatively new brokerage company and is building her business. I felt I would receive good communication and have an overall positive experience with Gold Star. I received several emails keeping me posted as to the progress. Car was picked up on time (actually the driver waited patiently to pick up the car as the seller would not release it until the scheduled date) and delivered 1 day earlier than scheduled, which was great for me, and less than what was quoted by other companies. I would highly recommend Gold Star and Ellen to anyone needing to ship a vehicle.
