I was referred to Global Logistics by a co-worker (US Army) and contacted "Heather" thru email. I was then called by "Jeff" shortly there after, notifying me that Heather was on vacation and that he would help. (Was kinda leary how he was able to respond to her emails, but figured it shouldn't be that big a deal since he stated that he was the owner). Coordinated a time for the following day to initiate the paperwork. Called right on time, discussed quote and went forward. Notified him that I was a referral, so he could pay the $50 fee (per website). Went forward with the transacton, paid money and stood by for contact from transpo company. Began to refer other Soldiers who were thinking about shipping vehicles, and was notified by one that the website no longer worked. Contacted Jeff in ref. to this and he explained that they had had a fire, but they were still up and running, not to worry. From there on out, had numerous attempts to contact via phone and email go un-answered or not in a timely manner.
Vehicle was P/U on time about 2-3 weeks later, but the company had yet to be paid by Global Logistics. #, they had on file was disconnected, although I was able to reach him. They talked and they assured transpo Company that they had recieved the money and would be paying them. Several weeks later when other co-workers were having issues with payment/ P/U ect., I again contacted the the transpo company, and they still had not been paid. I major investigation with all parties was initiated. I spoke with Liberty National Financial Corp.(Broker for Global Logistics) on July 6th (as did the transpo company) and was notified that the bond had been revoked in april 2010 and that they had already exceeded there insured amount.
I ended up having to pay the transpo company directly upon delivery.
This, by far, has been ther worse customer service rendered by ANY compnay I have ever dealt with. And I know personally of 2 others, who this has happen to also, within the last 2 months.
