BIKE ARRIVED WITH DEAD BATTERY NO COMPENSATION!!! NO CALL BACKS!!! DO NOT USE! Hired Get It Done Transportation to pick up my new 2024 HD Road Glide from FL & deliver to TX. I received a call from the dealer stating that the bike was loaded and the Harley Tech put the bike in "transport mode," to avoid draining the battery.Upon delivery of the bike, it would not start and would shut the screen down after only seconds. I knew something was wrong because the parking lights were flashing, dimly. In transport mode, there should be no lights flashing at all. Battery was DEAD. So at some point the subcontracted shipper took the bike out of transport mode. I was unable to speak with the delivery guy, as he did not SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH. I had no choice but to let him leave and try to resolve the issue via phone directly with Get It Done. I had to end up buying a new battery for my new motorcycle that I had not even been able to ride yet. I began trying to contact Get It Done Transportation on August 3, 2024 to resolve the issue. I wanted compensation for the $231 battery and my wasted time. David Maier said he would contact their subcontracted delivery company so I could get reimbursed by them, and he would have them call me to get sorted out. Never did get a call, and several calls were made to David with the same "Oh my, they still haven't reached out to you?! Let me call them again and I will get back to you." I never received any calls back from either party. After insisting further action towards resolution, David passed me on to his boss. His boss is doing the same thing. The last 2 times I called, he said he would have the owner of Get It Done Transportation to call me back to get my issue resolved. Yep, no call back. They are giving me the run around. Bike delivered JULY 29TH - posting my review OCT 3OTH. BEWARE OF WHO YOU TRUST TO TRANSPORT YOUR VALUABLES! I am still out the cost of a battery and lots of wasted time.

Edward thanks for the review and opportunity to work for you! The reason there was no confirmation is because the bike was not touched from the moment we loaded it til we off loaded it, it was never taken off the truck. We inspected the bike at pick up and tied it down according to how we were coordinating our drop off so nothing was touched. We can not help if the battery died or why it died, we car transporters not mechanics and please don't take my reply out of context I am not being sarcastic. It is important to us that all clients are happy but in 18yrs I have never allowed myself to be extorted over reviews. I don't buy reviews to be posted good or bad so when you said if you don't compensate me I will write all over the internet I simply said and I will respect your opinion. We work hard, we employee almost our whole family, transport 13,000 cars and bikes a year, and been in business 18yrs for a reason. We take full responsibility when something does wrong at our fault and will exhaust every effort to make it right but we can not help you bought a bike with a bad battery and wanted us to replace it, Thank you for your feed back.
