I shopped moving a collectors car out west....got about 16 quotes. David's wasn't the lowest at first, but later matched the best price I got. He was ready to ship the car in about 2 or 3 days. The shipping all went well...although at one point it was a little difficult getting a hold of him...he later phoned back saying he was home with the flu. All OK.

My main suggestion to a user would be to get hard copies of the shipping contract AND PROOF OF VALID INSURANCE with the actual driver ahead of time. These documents seem to be available only from the driver / trucking company and I could not get them ahead of time. As such, I had a few uneasy days not really knowing if the car would indeed show up and / or if it was damaged, would it be covered.

In the end, the car arrived on time, and in fine shape. But the system of paperwork needs to be cleaned up and streamlined so a user can get the documents up front.
