I needed my Saleen shipped from SC to CA. After researching a ton of companies, I narrowed it down to 2. The company that was recommended by a friend, was $50 more, and would have used 2 trucks, instead of one. Knowing that things go wrong sometimes, I didn't want to add another driver to the equation and have blame wars. I wanted a 1 truck service, with insurance, and a good rating with BBB. Get it Done had all of these requirements. We were told the transport would be there sunday or monday. He showed up sunday, in the pouring rain, did the walk around with my wife, and carefully loaded my car. My wife said Moun was very friendly, and didn't complain once about the rain. She watched from her car as he loaded it, and said he was very careful, and respectful with my car. I did try and save money by going with the open trailer, instead of the closed. The open was half the price. But understand that open exposes you to all the elements of the road, and the car was really dirty upon arrival. I knew this, and this is not a complaint. Just want people to understand it can happen. The shop that received the car did an inspection upon arrival, and everything was good and as stated on the walk around form. The transport actually got to the drop site on friday, but due to the shop being closed for holidays, he waited until saturday to drop it off. So actual transport time from above is 6 days. The only small complaint the shop had, was the driver is supposed to contact the shop 2 days in advance for delivery. The driver contacted my wife, but not the shop. I eventually got the shop, and driver on the same page, and they worked out the drop from there. So overall no complaints, and I will use Get It Done to deliver my Saleen back home to SC. Thanks for the service Dave, and look forward to using your company again. The shop also put on their site, and FaceBook page about how inexpensive you were, to transport across country. So hopefully we've helped bring you more business.
PS- Understand that these trucks are huge, and will not always be able to pick up, or deliver your car, to your door. My wife had to meet the transport down the road at the shopping center. No big deal. Just don't expect these trucks to be that maneuverable. Thanks again!
