I paid $115 via Paypal up front in Washington State, and $750 via Cashiers Check in New Jersey, totaling the delivery charge of $865. $300 less than the 2nd to cheapest company I found. It was the best price I could find for the distance. I spoke to 2-3 people at G&L and every person I spoke to was nice, informative, and honest.
I was quoted approximately 3-10 days for delivery, and 3-7 days wait for for pick up depending on traffic and weather to have our 2003 Mazda 6 delivered in an open container. About 3 days roughly less than the other guys. They even allowed about 50 pounds of stuff to be put into the car.
When we placed the order for delivery they gave exact pickup and drop off days, pickup was Wednesday, 11/4 and dropoff was Friday, 11/13. Driver was supposed to call about a day or two out to his destination.
Pickup was on time, and dropoff was almost on time. He called the day before delivery and said he was going to arrive 7pm on 11/13. As he got closer, he said midnight. As midnight approached, he said the next day. Car ended up arriving at 7am the next day.
The wavering time frame was a little frustrating at first, but it really wasn't out of the way. In fact a little surprised that they can pinpoint the time delivery length so closely. Aside from that, nothing was stolen, and not a scratch on the car.
For the service, price, and time length of delivery, I would DEFIANTLY use the company again.
