This customer, Chiadi Obi, who goes by several names in his correspondence and his order information, placed the order knowing it was dispatched to one of our Northwest affiliates that we have used for many years. Not once did we say that this truck was owned by us, but that it was from a company listed in the fleet of trucks under contract to us to book onto.
We picked up his vehicle on time and delivered it on time as requested, but Mr. Obi refused to answer the calls and emails we made to him until we threatened to turn him over to collections. He refuses to pay, stating that he doesn't care about his credit rating or about paying his debts as he states in his emails to us. Threatening violence to the driver if we send him to pickup the car or his final payment he owes.
This is the reason we do not take full payment via credit card and now we require an approved credit/debit card on file before we dispatch a truck.
Scammers such as this cause more problems than they care about. And he claims to be a financial advisor/consultant. Beware of Contila Consulting Services as I believe this person would not hesitate to scam everyone.
So...in ending, he signed a contract to transport his vehicle for a said price, we moved his vehicle, and now he doesnt want to pay what he contracted and received. Jim Hamilton
Update...this customers wife paid their bill and apologized for her husbands rude behavior..Jim
