This was my very first experience shipping a vehicle cross country. Needless to say it was a daunting undertaking. I had no clue that this industry was as large and competitive as it was revealed to be. Out of the gates, I was completed overwhelmed with the sheer number of companies available for coast to coast transport. I was contacted by both Brokers and Carriers. I could not determine who was telling me the truth and who was simply giving me their best sales pitch. (And trust me, you will hear every line in the book from some of these companies.) The rates were all over the board. In the end, I chose to go with Froland Auto Transport. They were not the cheapest, but they certainly were not the most expensive either. The quotes that I received were ranging from $850 - $1350. Chuck D. was the gentleman at Froland that I dealt with from the beginning to the end. He was incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in the industry. He knew the ins and outs and explained every facet of this transport clearly and concisely. I actually learned more about this industry than I ever dreamed existed. The transport driver arrived a day early and offered to take my vehicle that day if it were convenient for me. Since it was not, he simply laid over for the night and met me the next morning to load my vehicle. The load and departure went off without a hitch. A day or so later I received a call from the driver. Unfortunately, the transport truck had some mechanical problems as they came through Texas. In the end, this delayed the delivery of my vehicle by a couple of days. Hey, it happens. Mechanical issues are simply an unforeseen possibility, especially when driving from Nevada To Georgia. The driver was incredibly professional and courteous. He apologized multiple times for the inconvenience. I actually felt bad for this poor guy. He was the one stuck in Texas, I was in Georgia at the hotel relaxing. None the less, I was so appreciate and thankful that these guys did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. The communication and customer service was simply stellar. I would absolutely use Froland again and without reservation I would recommend them to anyone looking for an HONEST customer service driven operation. Thanks to Chuck and the entire gang at Froland for helping to make my cross country move smooth and easy. Much appreciated.
