I needed to ship a car to a friend in Maine. I was in contact with Sheldon from Fast Auto Movers, who explained the entire process and was very knowledgable. I had lots of questions, and he answered them all to my satisfaction. I was quoted a price of $788. I had researched other companies, and this price was right in the ballpark of the other companies. If it seems high, it was because the car was being shipped from a Philadelphia suburb to a remote area of Maine. Once a carrier responded to Fast Auto Movers' posting, I was contacted by Fast Auto Movers to handle the billing options. They put me in contact with the carrier, who worked out the schedule with me. I was in no hurry to get the car to Maine, so when the driver called and said there would be a few days' delay in picking up the vehicle, I didn't mind. It was being shipped from the Philadelphia area to the wilderness of Maine, not a route these drivers usually take. I was in contact with the driver several times and he was very pleasant. He picked up the car at the time we agreed upon, and got the car to Maine by the next evening. There was no problem in the shipment of the car. The party who received the car also found the carrier to be very friendly and polite. I had paid ahead with my credit card, so there was no need to make a payment to the driver on the receiving end. I would definitely recommend Fast Auto Movers if I needed to ship a car again.
