I will be as brief as possible. I needed my truck shipped in a very short window. I was moving from Washington to Texas and was only coming back to Washington for three days to retrieve my belongings (I work in Texas). I had contacted Exceptional auto transport over a month before I needed the truck shipped to discuss the details and find out if it would be possible. Beside the point, they assured me that it would be and that could definitely meet my needs. I asked politely if they were sure because I could go with someone else or just wait till a later time when I wasn't so time restricted. However they stated again that it would not be a problem because, "they have doing this for years". Never the less, they never showed up and no one called me the day before I had to fly to let me know the fact that no one was coming. They called me days later asking if I still needed service but I informed them AGAIN of my time constraints and travel plans. And since I was already in Texas it would be impossible to have the truck shipped. I tried asking the woman that called why did they continuously reassure me of the delivery when it was never possible from the start. I posted a longer version of this story on the BBB site thinking that it would be the only place to submit a complaint of this nature and they responded with a very vague apology. Stated that they dont control driver schedules or the weather. Honestly that has nothing to do with the empty promises that were made to me, considering I asked a month in advance. While their irrelevant comments maybe true, that does not explain why they did not contact me to let me know of any changes the day before. And unless they are planning to ship my truck for free, there is no apology necessary. I'm still in Texas with no vehicle and an apology wont take me anywhere.
