I recently purchased a car on EBay motors and needed it transported from the dealership in FL to my home in OH. This was the first time ever making a purchase like this so I was a little nervous about the whole process. I requested quotes online for the transport and, warning, you will be flooded with calls and emails. I honestly was overwhelmed. I was a daunting task, but I began going over the quotes, looking for the best price and quickest turn around. I narrowed it down to a few that sounded reputable and then checked for online reviews (such as this one), and BBB ratings. Frankly I was very surprised as to the negative reviews and bad business rating on some of the transport companies/brokers I was considering. So, let me start of saying please do your homework! Check reviews and I recommend steering away from ANY company that wants a deposit up front, or partial upfront payment. That being said, I found an awesome company with a fantastic person to work with. That was Christa at Excellent Auto Transport. I got a great quote from the company and after reading their reviews I decided to speak with them about my car being shipped to Ohio. Christa was so pleasant to speak with. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel at peace towards the whole process. The very day she posted the transport we had someone hired. That was very quick! However, that company, for some reason, did not supply Christa with correct and required insurance information. Christa explained she requires all transports hired by them to have a certain amount of insurance and must provide proof of this before a contract is fully accepted. Since they didn't supply the correct information, she had to repost the job. Since it was now a Saturday she said we might not hear back until Monday. I admit I was a bit nervous because I had set up the car for pick up by Tuesday. Christa called my nerves and assured me everything would work out. She was right because first thing Monday she called to tell me we had a new transport and this one had two drivers, so they could pick up on my scheduled day and deliver the next day. Wow! That was awesome! She wrote up the contract, everything was verified and we were set. Up to this point, I still had not paid anything to the company for all the hard work Christa was doing. Tuesday late morning I got a call from Christa, to let me know that my car was just picked up and on it's way to Ohio! I was excited believe me. At this point, I then paid a fee to Christa for her work in finding a reputable transport. She assured me the driver would be contacting me to set up the delivery time and, sure enough, that evening he called to tell me everything went smoothly and he would be delivering about noon on Wednesday. The delivery went smoothly and they were even an hour early! The whole process and working with Christa was great. One small hitch but it was taken care of. I highly recommend Excellent Auto Transport. Christa was with me every step of the way and she's so pleasant to speak to! I'd give them an A+ for a job well done!
