Driver did not call ahead. By accident I had a crew on hand to move this ~400 pound crate. Driver offered ZERO assistance. It was raining and I was told that in that case they would deliver to the nearest dry location. Driver REFUSED to help. I was told by the vendor to inspect the items before accepting. Estes driver rushed into his truck and was gone before I could even gather people to help. There was no chance to inspect anything. Estes made very sure of that inspection was impossible. BOTTOM LINE. I have dealt with Estes before -- never by choice, but by the vendor's choice. They have always provided the very minimal actual service. I WILL INSTRUCT ALL FUTURE VENDORS THAT THEY ARE NOT TO USE ESTES. IF THEY INSIST…I WILL FIND NEW VENDORS. There will never be another shipment from Estes accepted by my companies.
