Beware Find another Broker

John Andrews ignored my request to find a carrier who knew what they were doing. The carrier damaged the car during loading and unloading. They also got the carrier stuck in a dirt lot while trying to unload the vehicle. By the time it took them to unload the vehicle it was too dark to discover the damage to the car. Envision's website states 5 Star rated but only receives a C+ rating from the BBB. They selected a carrier who could cause $999 worth of damage without any recourse. As a broker, John Andrews did not earn any of the $150 commission.

To say that our company ignored a request to find a carrier who knew what they were doing is completely absurd. Our longstanding record of 5 Star service (evidenced on this site) speaks for itself. Our selection process is very specific. The carrier we selected has active insurance, a valid license, and a 100% rating throughout the history of their business operation. A 100% RATING!!! This means they never had a damage complaint, a late pickup or late delivery complaint. This means that no one had ever complained about their business operation or their service! The fact of the matter is that accidents happen. This is why we are always careful to select a carrier with active insurance. We don't write the policies, but we take every action necessary to make sure that it is in place. Mr. Dietrich was instructed in advance to make sure that both of his contacts knew at pickup and delivery that they would have to sign off on a vehicle condition report verifying that the vehicle was received in the same condition that it was picked up in. This vehicle condition report is evidence to the broker, carrier, insurance company, and client that any damage had occured. There was no such damage marked on the vehicle condition report for this move. When a damage claim arises days after the vehicle was delivered, there is absolutely no way to prove when the damage occured. To add to this, the vehicle that was transported was an inoperable project car, and was not at all in pristine condition to start. Regardless of the fact that this was a non-working project vehicle, that Mr. Dietrich (who was not at pickup or delivery) claims had $100 worth of damage to on delivery; I personally went to lengths in trying to help get the situation resolved. I personally spoke to the carrier to try and get it handled, obtained fresh copies of insurance certificates and spoke to the claims agent myself to try and come to a resolution for him. I can assure any potential clients that if you browse this site, you will see that Envision Auto always goes above and beyond the call in every aspect of our business. The fact is that Mr. Dietrich did not have proper documentation of any damage occuring at delivery. Everything that he has been told by his delivery contact, everything he has told our company and the carrier is just heresay without proper documentation. We hope that you will consider us in the future for any transport needs. Also, an A+ rating can easily be bought from the BBB for about $650. I have personally chosen not to write them a check, because I believe that the whole operation is unethical itself. Good companies like ours can be slandered by unreasonable people who believe what a company like the BBB tells them. In reality, there is no validity to a complaint like this.
