never picked up and did not refund deposit

after Phil sent confirmation for quote of $850 total and charged us $175 deposit, and stated veh needed to be available for pick up 12/16 or after, did not hear from him and 12/16 called and emailed, he said someone would contact me and car would be picked up shortly. Then call from Jeff who stated would be picked up by the 20th, and he would call me back.He did not. Kept calling and emailing and finally after several attempts to get them to make arrangements, on 12/21 Rene stated they could transport for $1650 almost double the original price and then never called us back or made arrangements for pick up. They also have failed to respond to email & phone call attempts and Rene said don't even try to dispute the deposit, we do this all the time and you should have read fine print! Would not recommend them. They are dishonest and no follow up. They underbid and couldn't provide the agreed upon service.

Hey KJ, unfortunately we were dispatched your vehicle for pick up and the truck broke down. Once we were able to locate another driver they wanted to charge more money, we only informed you and it was your option. We also told you that we would be picking up $200 of the extra cost if you agreed. I apologize if you misunderstood and I would like to apologize on behalf of everyone here. We are always open and honest with all customers, that is why we put our terms and conditions on our website. Once again, I am sorry your vehicle was not transported smoothly.
