My car was scheduled for pick up between 3/22/13 to 3/26/13 according to Easy Car Move, Inc. It was finally pick up on 3/27/13 by Sergey Budnik of Assurance Roadside & Towing – a company based in Snohomish, WA. I recorded the mileage upon pick up at 43,322 miles, with a ¼ gas on the tank. According to Sergey Budnik he is waiting for two more cars and will transport them to Portland. According to Easy Car Move, the transit time between Everett, WA to N. Las Vegas, NV will only take 3-5 calendar days. Based on this transit time, I should receive the car by April 1, 2013. Easy Car contracted Chase Transport, LLC (Oregon) to transport the car. We received the car on the evening of April 5, 2013 – 4 days past the promised timeline, and a total of 10 days in transit!
Beginning 4/1/13 we started calling Easy Car and Chase Transport for the status of the car. It was very frustrating to contact either. Voice messages left for Easy Car Move and Chase Transport were never returned. Meanwhile we have to extend our car rental. The car finally arrived late Friday evening, April 5, 2013 with the driver even asking us to give him a ride back to where his transport trailer was parked – a good 10 miles. Also, I found out that 335 miles were added to my car’s odometer. The gas tank was near empty and the car’s lighter was also missing. My theory is somebody droved it from Everett, WA to Portland, OR instead of transporting it. I asked the driver who said that he does not know anything about it and that he was just hired by Chase Transport 3 days before and that the car left Oregon only on April 2, 2013 – when the car was picked up from us on March 27, 2013! It’s the dishonesty, inefficiency and lack of customer service that is unacceptable. Nobody should ever use Easy Car Move, Inc., Chase Transport, LLC and Assurance Roadside and Towing LLC. It was a nightmare to say the least.
