Vehicle was to be picked up on set day but then I had it changed and notified shipper. Car was to be picked up on Monday . Heard nothing from shipper so called and found out car wasnt picked up and would be picked up on Wed or Thursday. This vehicle was being held at acar dealers personal house to avoid any damage. Only after I called several times was actually assured it was getting picked up. Was told once car was picked up 2 to 3 days max for delivery. Car was finally picked up on thursday and was set to be delivered on Sat morning before 12 noon. After 3pm on saturday I still didnt have the car and called. Was informed by driver his truck was broken and he was even using a loaner to get the job done. I had to call him ...I was never informed of any problem.. Was then told on the phone would be at my house the following morning (sunday) in the morning. Well when all was said and done I finally got the car late sunday afternoon at almsot 730pm. With all this said and done I want you to understand I am a very easy to get along with person. I didnt have to have the car here at a set date and was flexible. But my time is valuable also and I too own a personal business. I pretty much pissed away an entire weekend waiting on this car that was supposed to be here thursday or friday to begine with. I had to make the calls every time to see what was going on when the deadline came and passed. I was never called and spoken to at any point telling me it hadnt been picked up. yada yada yada. Once again i am very reasonable but I expect when i pay for something that it be done in a timely manner. The car did arrive here fine and unmarked but was very dusty but it could have been pciked up taht way I dont fault anyone for that. Vehicle breakdowns are a misfortuen true...but those arent my problems........those are the shiipers problems. To hand out this kind of money ($815) to get a car shipped enclosed I expected it done quickly and very professionally. If I had know it was gonna take from a Monday ( the orignal pickup date to sunday (7 days) to get the car picked up and delivered. i would have simple drove up and gotten the car myself. Needless to say the driver was professional. Well prepared and did a good job. I jsut have a probelm with paying for a task that was done in such a haphazard fashion. I felt like i was getting teh runnarround a few times as was starting to feel as if I had made a bad decsion on selecting Door To Door for transport of my car. With all tht said I probably wound not use the company again. Mainly because of there failure to communicate in a timely manner. As we all see in life most problems are solved easy with simple a call or conversation but jsut ignoring or letting them go for the other party to have to insert an inquiry on the problem seems like the company is not prepared and up to date with what is going on. I called on 3 occasion and was told (I will call you bakc let me call them) on two of those occasion i had to return the call to get the answer.
