Seem good but couldn't get the job done for me

I used websites for various companies to get bids on shipping my small truck from Montana to Iowa. Domestic had what I thought was a good deal. Their price wasn't the best I found, but I had heard good things about them. In my case, things didn't turn out so good. I very patiently waited for them to find a transporter for my truck, over three weeks. I heard very little until I finally got a call. They said they had possibly found a truck, but the driver wanted more money. Why can't they get the job done for the price they said they would? I agree anyways because I want this taken care of. The next day I get a call saying that this supposed truck has broken down and we are back to square one. Thankfully they canceled my order without any trouble, but don't tell something you will get something done if you can't do it. It felt like a bait and switch and then a scam altogether.
