I contacted Domestic primarily because if its superior previous ratings, reviews.price and quick delivery. Upon arrival The motorcycle I purchased had no Vin # on it or any other manufactures numbers for vehicle verification. Had the driver contacted me upon arrivel at the sellers location to pick up i woiuld of told them NOT to pick it up. My reason is obvious because I could not verify if the motorcycle was the one i purchased and not contraband. I would think this is a requirement for all transport carriers unless unusal circumstances are specified by the buyer. I've had other vehicles purchased and shipped to buyers in the past and they always confirmed they had vin numbers.
In addition to this major issue the state of Florida requires they inspect the vehicle for vin number verificaion in order to transfer the title and obtain a license tag. Hopefully Domestic will change their policy and requirements in the future.

My name is Terry Williams and I am the President and CEO of Transport Holdings Inc. Our family of brokerages includes, Domestic Auto Transport Inc., but also Magic Carpet Auto Transport Inc., Red Carpet Auto Transport Inc., Cascade Vehicle Shipping Inc., Top Notch Auto Transport Inc. and The Car Transporters Inc. You will find all of our companies are A RATED at their local BBB’s as well as top rated companies on this site. I very rarely respond to these negative reviews personally but this one got under my skin. In the 9 years we’ve been operating and the 100,00 plus cars we’ve shipped, we have never received a ZERO star review from a client under these circumstances. Nowhere in our terms and conditions do we agree to verify your VIN Number or is it something routinely done in this industry unless it’s going overseas. I have looked at the notes on this order and not one time did you communicate anything about checking a VIN number. You had direct contact with the driver yourself and it appears you weren’t smart enough to have the driver check the VIN for you to cover your tracks on the poor job YOU did verifying you weren’t getting ripped off by the buyer. My rep, dispatch department and our truck partner did the job we were paid to do, which was getting your vehicle moved in a professional and safe manor in a short amount of time at a fair price. Instead of talking about what a great job we have done, you whine and blame us for your KNUCKLEHEADED decision to buy from some one you had not completely check; Frankly it only exposes how ignorant you are. Good luck with future shipments, I would encourage you to dig a little deeper about your potential seller next time.
