I was getting a gift of a car from a relative in Florida. I did a fair amount of research both by phone calls and online to see what my options were. Of course, driving myself was also an option.
I wanted someone reliable, who would come on time and deliver on time and treat the car with some degree of respect and care. I also didn't want to pay a fortune to transport a used car.
I read the reviews about Direct Express Auto Transport. It seemed they took their job as brokers quite seriously and, when there was the occasional problem, got involved in trying to fix it.
The price was right, about $50 from the lowest quote I could otherwise find; and a few hundred dollars less than the highest.
Well, everything about the service was perfect. It appeared that the car was going to be delivered about 1 day early when a storm hit. The driver called immediately and asked if it was OK to deliver the car the following day (still on time). Since it was, we set up the appointment. The car was delivered on time in perfect condition. I definitely would use this company again.
