DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Although the price was right ($750 compared to $900+ with other companies) you get what you pay for. When I called to schedule the pick up, Elise suggested I have the car available for pickup in Colorado starting on August 15. Although this would have potentially left me without a vehicle for nine days, I said that was fine because we needed the car in New Jersey by Thursday, August 25. Elise never addressed the fact that August 25 could come and go, and my Jeep may not be in New Jersey.

As of Thursday, Aug 17, we still had not receive the confirmation email to say that the vehicle had been assigned to a carrier. I was scheduled to fly out on Wed, August 24, and was running out of time to ensure the Jeep was picked up before I left. I called Direct Express, and mysteriously I had been assigned to a carrier not an hour after that phone call. It seems like not much effort had been put into finding a carrier until I called with my "reminder". The vehicle did not end up getting picked up by Timely Auto Transport until Tuesday, August 23. When I left my vehicle with the driver that Tues, he told me it would be in Jersey on Friday. But now here I am on Saturday, and I've just been informed that I won't be getting my vehcile until Monday or Tuesday.

Edith, the manager at Direct Express, is not a very nice person. The driver with Timely Auto hung up on me when I called to find out when I would be getting my car (telling me he's not an airplane, and I just need to wait), so I called and spoke to Edith. Edith was just as worthless as the dispatchers at Timely Auto Transport. She said that they would not get my car off the carrier, and that I just needed to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get my vehicle.

There is a reason that I only paid $750 to get my car from Colorado to New Jersey, and that is because of the lack of service you receive when paying such a measly sum of money for such a long transport. I wish I would have been the extra money to use a reputable auto transport company because now I'm the one suffering. The driver is still going to get his money, and Direct Express has their $150 deposit, yet I don't have my car after 12 days of it being made available for pick up.

DON'T USE DIRECT EXPRESS!! And also try not to use a company that uses a broker for the transport. It's worth the extra money to use a company that uses their onw drivers.

Our outstanding reputation including A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau speaks for itself. Customer Madison Madril is mistaken if she thinks our driver is going to deliver her car in New Jersey on the same weekend that Hurricane Irene hits. Only a fool would do that - so we congratulate our driver on his sound judgement and can only imagine what would prompt an otherwise nice man into hanging up on Ms. Madril. As for our representatives Edith and Elise, other customers praise their kindness and good work. Hopefully Hurricane Irene allows us to deliver Madison Madril her vehicle after the weekend. We wish Ms. Madril lots of luck in the hurricane and with all her future endeavors.
