I had the same worries as others that have reviewed the company. There's a lot of fraud in the car shipping industry. My car was moved from Racho Cordova CA to Memphis TN. The car was at the origination point for a full calendar week before it started to move. Once moving, the ability to see where the car was, I felt, helped ease a lot of anxiety. It helped me understand the process and why it takes time for the car to reach the final destination. My car ended up having starting troubles after drop off. This had nothing to do with the carrier, the battery simply decided that it would be a good time to drop it's charge. The car reached Mesquite TX, where there is a transfer hub, but the car wouldn't start to move to another trailer. DAS was able to move the car to the new transport and have it continue it's journey to Tennessee. It would have been nice to have been told of this issue before it reached the final destination, however, that would have simply been a convenience but didn't detract from the overall experience of the transport. Once the car arrived at the final destination point, the gentleman at the depot was more than courteous. He was at Menk Towing, and only with his help, was I able to start the car and drive it home. Without his assistance, it would have been much tougher. We had dropped in on the poor man without an appointment, knowing that the car had been dropped off, and he was still more than helpful.
I can't recommend these folks a lot. They were fighting a 1971 Cadillac Coupe Deville, a rather large car that did not wish to start after drop off. They still managed to deliver AND did not charge any extra fees, even though the car was disabled during the transport.
I recommend these folks highly, the car is in great shape, was washed at the final destination and very well taken care of during it's journey.
If someone was to ask me, I would recommend these folks highly.
