So i signed up to have my car shipped cross country by DAS, I was given a drop dead date on when the car would get to me by the sales guy on the phone. In given me that drop dead date for arrival he told me it would most likely be even earlier because they were not busy. They also sold me big time on being able to track the car as it moved across the country.
After pick up I went online to track the car and after the 4th day of it still sitting at the terminal I decided to call. When I got on the phone with someone (20 minutes wait time) I was told that not only would the car not be there on the drop dead date, it would probably be up to 5 days later then that.
I was shocked and since I was leaving on an 8 day business trip the next day I was really upset. I found someone else who would pick up the car at their terminal and get me the car on time. When I asked for my car back they sent me a bill for $170 for the pleasure of getting MY car back. I was disgusted. On principle I would not pay for that. I yelled and screamed and just got hung up on my their head of customer service, when I asked to speak to someone higher then her I was told that "she was the highest I was going to get". They had my $65,000 car for god sake! Why would I be able to speak to someone else. I will own the fact that after that I lost my cool and said some things I should not have said...
At the end of the day I found the name of the owner and emailed him and suddenly they called and said the car would be on time...funny how that happens.
All and all and awful experience I would not use them again.
BTW, dont expect to be able to track the car as promised. It doesnt work...
