Damaged a Museum Quality 40 year old Classic Car

Shipped car from Idaho to Ohio. DAS Rep was caring and suggested car should go enclosed and top load to avoid fluids from above cars dropping on my classic car. I paid extra for those services. I asked if extra insurance was needed and told no. DAS REP stated they were responsible for my car while in their control. Car arrived with brake fluid dropped on hood and left fender which removed the paint. Also dents were made to right rear quarter, passenger door, front hub cap and scraped bumper. $7400 to repair.

DAS Claims admitted the damage after six weeks but would only pay to repair dents to right side. DAS Claims stated their contract states foreign fluids dropping on car is not covered. Well if they had shipped my car top load and enclosed, nothing could have dropped onto the hood. They were negligent in fulling my contract terms for which I paid. They have adamantly refused to pay for the damage to the hood and left front fender. This car was in a museum for seven years and was all original. It has now been permanently reduced in value due to their negligence. Customers beware.
