Very Bad sub contracting to the actual carrier

This is a warning to anyone using this broker. They selected P & K carriers of Canyon Country California to actually move my vehicle. SIMPLE FACT: When the vehicle arrived late after four days of lies about where it was, it was mechanically damaged. TAKE NOTE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. My car had 15.1 miles accumulated on it sometime during transport. The right front axel bearing and axel spindle we severely spalled and required replacement. The left front Suspension strut was bent and required replacement. There is no question this auto was misused in a joyride by someone. The carrier P & K of course denies everything. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Gilbert is polite and helpful but not necessarily truthful in my opinion. Gilbert told me the car would be picked up by the "truck" that would carry it to New Hampshire and there was to be no vehicle changes or transfer yards involved. Basically this turned out NOT to be true at either end of the haul. In fact the delivery man told me he picked it up 45 miles away at a terminal. At the pick up it was hauled away by a short hauler as well, to a storage yard in Canyon Country California. Also take note that when I asked Gilbert about a bad comment on this site from another unhappy customer held had a story to explain it away. After this experience I have reason to no longer believe the story he gave had credibility in my opinion.

Roger we do state that your vehicle is on the same truck with the same driver, however in some situations with some customers as long is it is approved by them, we may send a smaller carrier out to the location of pick up to bring the vehicle to the larger carrier to be loaded on and hauled out to the destination city. Now in this situation because the carrier has put extra miles on the vehicle with out explanation, we've black listed this company and they are no longer in the DASH network. We have over 15,000 carriers in our network and situations like this usually never happen, but not everyone can be perfect. At the same time we are not the type of company to let the same mistake happen twice.
