I have heard horror stories from friends, friends of friends, and the internet of pick-ups being delayed, delivery being delayed, and additional cash demanded by the driver upon delivery- so, needless to say, I was cautious. Kim, and the folks at DIY, answered all of my questions and put me at ease as much as possible. They walked me through the process and everything they said was accurate. They are brokers but appear to work with reputable transport companies. The driver's company contacted me the day of pick-up to confirm and called me the next day to provide an estimated time of arrival. I was given 7-10 days- but, to my surprise, the driver called me on day 4 and told me he would arrive by 7pm on day 5. My car arrived in a covered trailer in the same condition in which it was picked up. I will certainly use Kim and DIY for my next auto transport needs.
