Hello Liz, I am sorry to hear about things not being satisfactory with your transport. In regards to driver dispatch, we generally operate within a 1-5 day window from the ready date. That Thursday fell within that window. As far the communication with the driver, we are taking steps to make sure that EVERY driver keeps in mind the importance of keeping in contact with customers. The increase in price was based on the route and changes within the route. I apologize if things were not explained clearly during the placement of the order and we will definitely take the necessary actions to ensure that this doesn't happen again.
