CCAT Should Be Out of Business

CCAT used a very sketchy auto carrier company, American Auto Transportation (aka US Auto Transport) out of Spokane, Washington, to deliver our car. (Please see my review of AAT.) When our car was delivered, my husband's company had cut a check for CCAT, instead of the transport company. The driver told my husband that he would return the following day with the car. He lied; he did not. Instead, it was dropped off at a body shop 17 miles away, and someone, not authorized by us, signed off on our car. After a new check was cut, sent, and received (six days), we were told the location of our vehicle. (We had to pay storage fees for six days.)

To make a long story short, the car's hood was damaged to the tune of $600.00. No one at American Auto Transportation ever returned one of the 10+ phone calls I made. Cross Country Auto simply washed their hands off the matter; afterall, they had gotten their fee and could not have cared less. Ms. Jones is one of the rudest people with whome I've ever had the misfortune to speak. Further, when I tried to get help from another person, after refusing to speak again with Ms. Jones, I just gave up. While Nicole was very nice, she was totally clueless about the company they had hired to pick up and deliver our car.

In short, I would never use Cross Country again, and neither will anyone else who heeds my warning. The fact that they use such a terrible transporter and employ downright mean people speaks volumes.
