I booked my transport through Rick Taylor at Crest Trans and what a mistake that was. His quote was one of the lower ones I received when I was shopping for a transport company to ship my daughters car from Virginia to Utah. I went with Rick because he followed up by phone and answered my questions when others were hared to get ahold of. We discussed how he could ship my car for the lower price when most others were higher. He said it is because of the volume they do and that they had been in the business for 25 years and were well known. Never once in our multiple conversations did he mention that the price would be higher when the car was delivered. Of course Crest Trans is a broker who collect their fee up front. I was warned by other companies not to go that way but I was naïve and felt comfortable that Rick was being honest with me. Once they have the fee then they put your car out there at a higher price and leave you to pay the bill when it arrives. Deception is their business. Their customer service/dispatch guy Al is horrible to deal with. He was rude to me, my daughter and my wife on the phone. Telling us that we didn't "read the fine print" in the contract. Anytime you here that comment you know you have been screwed. If Rick Taylor calls or anyone else from Crest Trans run away. These people are Crooks!! By the way the name used to charge my card was "Quick Time Movers" so who knows who these people really are.
