I live in New Jersey and wanted my father's pickup truck shipped from California. I would be in Cali for 10 days so, although there was a considerable window of opportunity for pickup it would have to be within that time frame.

I spoke with Najah several weeks prior to my trip and was assured there would be no problem. Creative was not the cheapest nor the most expensive bid I received but I liked what I read and heard from her about the company and its reliability. She touted their network of thousands of trucks and personal relationship with many truckers assuring me I had nothing to worry about.

A day or two before going west I was getting concerned because I had not heard from them so I called and was told they had not yet gotten a driver. She added that drivers contact them only 2 or 3 days prior to pickup and I should not worry.

Three days later I was told the same and finally toid they may not be able to get anybody that week.

I finally called a different company; a transporter not a broker, I was able to book a pickup the following week. It cost more and I had to arrange for somebody else to care from the truck and meet the driver for pickup at additional cost to me.

Between canceling the order with Creative and booking the other company I got a call from the Creative's dispatcher saying he had a truck going east the next day but didn't book it because of my cancellation order and begged me to stay with them. Everybody there was nice and seemed to be trying so I said okay. He then said he had to confrm with the driver he could do it. About 3 hours later he called back to say the driver already booked another vehicle.

Regardless of how nice they seemed they caused me nothing but anxiety and additional cost.

If I had to do it again I would use a transporter, not a broker.

Rich gave us a six day pick up window for a Ford F150 XL with a wheelchair lift and an extended cap on the back. This transport was difficult to proceed due to the size and modifications to the F150 XL. He was also booked with a couple of other brokers as well at the same time. When we did find a driver we tried to contact him but he was unavailable and we could not hold up the driver. The representative and dispatcher called drivers but nobody had room for the vehicle at that time. We did all we could do to transport this vehicle, even by deducting our commission to $1. We offered our full amount to entice a carrier to transport and we still couldnt find a driver to transport it. After we located a carrier and contacted the customer he went with someone else for more money.
