They say three times is the charm. In the case of Country Wide you'll get THREE TIMES THE HARM!!!

Let me just preface this by saying that as the owner of a few very expensive cars I am normally very apprehensive about having my cars shipped. However, I was referred to them by a friend whom also has very high end cars and had one vehicle transported - however, he must have been one of th very very very few satisfied customers of Countrywide.

COUNTRY WIDE AUTO TRANSPORT FAVORITE STATEMENTS:
1. OH YEAH LET ME CHECK ON THAT AND CALL YOU TOMORROW.
2. WHAT WAS YOUR ORDER NUMBER? - LIKE THEY DON'T REMEMBER A CUSTOMER WHOM CALLS THREE TIMES A DAY 30 DAYS IN A ROW TO GET A REFUND1!
3.

Here is my story:

Car # 1 - It was picked up 5 days late. Then it was supposed to be transported "direct" to the deistination. I later found out the car changed hands three times - on a $55,000 car!!! And when the car arrived the rear tires of the car were 50% burned off and axle was broken.
How did they try to resolve it? We called Mike 5 times and he always said, "oh yeah - let me send you the claim form" after numerous time it didn't arrive even though I have fax, email, and 5 phone numbers to get a hold of me!!! Then mike states we will fill the form out over the phone.... well after many many attempts nothing came of it. About that time I needed anther car shipped.

So, Mike states that the form we filled out would be used as a credit towards my shipping of the next car -
Car #2 - So, I booked another car for a cross country transport. This car took 10 total days longer than they had claimed it would!

Meanwhile, I am still waiting on the refund of the damage to be put towards a shipment. I find out it actually is still "in process".

Now the kicker -

I had referred a friend in the beginning to this company Countrywide during this time, because I thought that I was being taken care of by Mike - he seemed like a nice enough guy - and I had the "feeling" they were going to take care of us!

Car #3 - We had a third car that was supposed to be transported - my friend paid the 50% of the transport - driver never showed up....

He is now in the third month of trying to get a refund - the original transport was booked in late November of 2008 -

After many many calls to "Al" whom is in the following positions:

1. Manager when he wants to not allow a discount for bad transportation.
2. Owner when talking to Mike.
3. "Just an order taker" when it is time to refund payments.
4. Credit Card Processor and Authorizor with a CC maching right there when he needs to reserve a transport.
5. "Dispatch" when the driver is on his way.
6. "phone book" when we need to talk to the shipping company "supposed to be on the way". All he did was provide the number of the shipping company actually doing a transport!!!

ALL IN ALL STAY AWAY - DO NOT LET LOW PRICE "OFFERS" TRICK YOU INTO GIVING A CREDIT CARD!!!!

PROFESSIONAL SHIPPING COMPANIES REQUIRE PAYMENT WITHN THE VEHICLE IS DELIVERED SAFELY!!!

In reference to the above posted Blog. We Countrywide Auto Transport are A high volume shop. We have been in the transportation industry just over 20 years and we transport up to 1,000 vehicles a month. As a high volume shop, we are bound to have an occasional unhappy customer. With the volume that we do (According to Transport reviews) verses the number of complaints that we allegedly have (According to Transport reviews), we show a .53 % ratio of customers (Happy Or Unhappy) that have actually posted a Blog on Transport Reviews. This means that for every 300 customers, we have 1 Possible unhappy customer. Although 0% ratio of unhappy customers is our obvious daily goal, we do on occasion get a customer that just can not be pleased. In the customer service industry, it is close to impossible to please every one. In addition to that, we (Countrywide Auto Transport) obviously know each and everyone of our customers. More that half of the Blogers with complaints on Transport Reviews are in fact Unverifiable. Unfortunately a web site such as Transport Reviews, gives "one unhappy customer" an opportunity to post 5 or even 10 fake Blogs. Many of the Blogs on this web site are in fact over exaggerated, outrageous and or fabricated stories. We are currently consulting an attorney in reference to verifying the origin of these unverifiable "unhappy customers" Making sure that they are not from one malicious individual. Upon discovering who theses malicious Blogers are, we will pursue legal action immediately for Defamation Of Character. It is a travesty for a web site such as Transport Reviews, which is intended to help the Consumer, mislead and misinform them instead. As well as unfortunately give an opportunity to anyone that wasn’t "happy", to "bash" an honest and hard working company. We have, are and always will strive to provide all of our customers with a hassle free transport with the best customer service.
