They made a very difficult time enven worse

My Aunt passed away in her home in NY the day after Christmas. I had to fly back to NY from CA to pick up her belongings and transport her car. I hired Countrywide Auto and they state they need a 3 day window for pick up time I gave them the 7th 8th and 9th of Jan. and scheduled my dates flying in and out around these dates so I wouid be available for them to pick up the car. I called on the 8th and said I had not herd from anyone yet. I was told they have 3 days and I should call back the next day if I didn't receive a call. The next day the 9th I called at 12:00 and said I hadn't herd from anyone yet and this was the last day has I had a flight back to CA the next morning to CA. I was told the truck was on its way. A couple hours later I called again, now I'm told the truck is having machanical proplems and they would call with status soon. Another hour later I called again I explained again my flight arrangements and that I was waiting for them in the apartment where my Aunt died and her body fluids were on the floor and I really need to get out of there. I was told they would make a call and they would call me back. I waited another hour and called again this time demanding a time frame so I could rearrange my flight, they finally told me there was no truck coming. I told them I was taking the car to the furneral home and changed my flight to the 11th. They could pick up the car at the furneral home on the 10th and again they didn't pick it up. I flew back to CA on the 11th leaving the car with the funeral director. On Monday the 14th it still had not been picked up. I canceled the order and I hired someone else. Now the refuse to refund my money which the billed before they even performed the service. If they would have been honest from the beginning it would have been much different, instead the lied to me the entire time and caused me a great deal of trouble and money.

WE HAD THIS CUSTOMER SCHEULED FOR PICK UP BASED ON OUR TERMS OF SERVICE CONTRACT. THIS CUSTOMER WENT AHEAD AND DOUBLE BOOKED HER CAR WITH 3 DIFFERENT TRANSPORT COMPANIES TO SEE WHO CAN PICK UP THE FASTEST. WHEN MY DRIVER SHOWED UP TO PICK UP CAR HE FOUND OUT THAT CAR WAS PICKED UP BY ANOTHER CARRIER.
