Cosmos Auto, Inc. was great in with arranging to have my car picked up so quickly (the following day after I finished my paperwork). The shipping price was good and their reviews were very good. They assured me that the company they chose for me said there was no terminal or storage yard where the car would sit and that once it was on the truck it would take 7-10 days for delivery. The driver who picked up the car stated he was taking it to a truck yard where it would be put immediatly on a carrier and transported and I should expect it in 7-10 days more likely 7 days. I found out my car arrived in MA in 7 days but the carrier company (P&K Carriers) took it to a storage yard and let it sit for 7 more days. Each time I or my daughter called they said they were waiting on a driver but if we wanted we could pick it up ourselves. The car was approximatly 1 1/2 hours away and she had no way of getting there besides we paid to have it delivered, not sit in some car yard.
Cosmos Auto, Inc. kept contacting P&K Carriers and was passified with lies from the L.A office on the delivery status of the car and was told the car was not in a holding yard even though both my daughter (she was in MA waiting on the delivery) and myself confirmed with the storage yard it was there. Cosmos Auto, Inc. advised me that they would not be using P&K Carriers anymore because of this incident and the carrier company's dishonesty.
My advice is if your broker says they're using P&K Carriers to transport your vehicle; think twice unless you don't mind your car sitting in a storage yard.
