What a waste of time

In mid June I arranged with Cosmos Auto to move my car from VA to CO. I gues I should have known that their quoted price of $790 was a little too good to be true. I specified the beginning of the pick-up window as July 5 and was told the probability was 90% that the pick up would occur within the advertised 7 business day window.

Cosmos never, ever contacted me. After waiting more than two weeks, I started calling. At first they told me that it would be "by the end of the week" because the July 4 holiday period had put things behind schedule. Later they said they could not give me any estimate because they were working "day to day" on the move. I waited more than 6 weeks before finally giving up yesterday (August 17). Clearly they weren't working very hard.

So I can't comment on how well they move cars, just that in my case there was no movement whatsoever. (As an extra bonus, my car now won't start, even with a jump.) Thanks for nothing Cosmos.
