I contracted with Cosmos to transport a Lexus across the country. The price quote was attractive, but there was no activity on the transport. The car was not transported by Cosmos, and after a week of hearing nothing from them, I cancelled the order and chose another company. I had to initiate all the communications with Cosmos. Once I went with another transport company, the car was picked up in 3 days with the other company.

The price Cosmos was quoting and posting was too low for any carrier to take and the car was never going to move at that quote. The problem with doing low quotes is, the posting board has the listing on it forever, carriers get wary of the job, and if you chose multiple postings, carriers see this and will never pick up your car.

Be wary of low-ball postings, you will wait and wait, nothing will move.
