We had considered flying to Houston (wife works for an airline) and driving our car back to Phoenix. After looking at the numbers to drive (at least $400 for gas, logging and food), we explored the idea of using an auto transport. I received several quotes and circled back to Corporate Auto Transport. They were upfront and provided the most information. We used the standby, open carrier option since we didn't need the vehicle in a hurry and to save a few dollars. In the end we were contacted the next day (total luck) and were given the option to upgrade to a closed carrier for a reasonable amount. Very happy with the experience and not having to make the drive.
